By faith we understand that the universe was created by the Word of God. We don’t understand everything about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, heaven, hell, the end times but understanding isn’t needed; Only faith.
By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith, Enoch was taken away so that he did not experience death. By faith Noah built an Ark to deliver his family. By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed. By faith Sarah herself, when she was barren, received power to conceive. See a pattern?
God has always delivered on His promises to those who had faith that He would do exactly what He said He would do. He doesn’t change from day to day or year to year. He is the same today as He has always been. His Word stands. If we have faith as a mustard seed He is able!!!
Faith can be easy when things are going your way. It’s only when you face hardships that your faith is truly tested. It only takes that one phone call to bring you to your knees and for you to realize just how much faith you have or don’t have.
Nothing is impossible with God! Sarah had faith that someday she would give birth to a son.
She did when she was 90 years old! Noah believed that the Lord was going to flood the earth so he built an ark as he was commanded. How much more proof do we need that God is able to do above and beyond what our minds can even comprehend?
I have faith that one God is going to heal my grandson, Jason. I will not be moved from this faith. No matter what the doctors say. No matter what anybody says! I know that God promised me that Jason is going to walk again and I believe Him.
“Where is your faith?” He asked the disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?” Luke 8:25
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and it will be done. Matthew 21:21
He replied, “if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” Luke 17:6
