Happy Independence Day!
I pray that God will continue to show His great mercy on this Nation. In the last few decades we (America) have turned our backs on God. We have taken Him out of our schools, out of the workplace and even out of our church’s. And He still has not turned His back on us (yet).
We serve a God that is long suffering but there will come a time when His anger will be thrust upon us and rightfully so. We cannot remove Him from our lives and continue to live as though we have nothing to lose because the truth is we have everything to lose. Our rights, freedoms and our way of life are in jeopardy of being destroyed if we don’t turn back to God!
We have to take a stand if we want to get our Nation back to how the founding fathers designed it. We are a Nation of Christians. We do believe in God, family and Country. We do hold these rights to be self evident and endowed by our Creator!!!
We have to stop being a Nation that allows our government to tell us when we can say the Name of Jesus out loud, when and where we are allowed to pray to God or how to raise our kids or what cars we can own or what unions we have to pay dues to or what kind of light bulbs we must buy or a government that demands that we all purchase health insurance!! It is not the government’s job to run our lives it is our job to run the government. And God help us if we don’t start doing our job now!!!!
It is time for Christians to stand up and in one voice cry out to God and ask Him for forgiveness and beg Him to heal our land, Ask Him to send us a righteous man or woman to lead our country in 2012; Because a Country without God is a Country gone under.
Remember August 6th is a day of prayer and fasting for our state and our Nation.
Scripture
if My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
In my distress I called out to the Lord; I called out to my God. From His temple He heard my voice; my cry came to His ears. 2 Samuel 22:7
